OK, I've been trying to find out what this flippin piece of piano music is!!!!
It was used quite a few years ago on an advert for some financial firm that I cannot for the life of me remember the name of! (Not very helpful I know). I do remember that the advert had a shot of lots of autumn leaves falling and swirling about. The music is purely piano. It's sort of modern classical.
Then this morning I heard it on the BBC's European Atheletics during a montage. AGHHHHHHHHHH!! (have tried asking them, but no reply)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hmmm, tricky!! Fancy a challenge?

Sounds like it could be something by Ludovico Einaudi. His stuff is fairly commonly used for ads and incidental music, and his style is modern classical piano. Maybe you could start by flicking through his stuff on iTunes to see if it sounds familiar.
I do know that one of his pieces was used for a John Lewis Natural Landscapes campaign - I think that had lots of Autumn leaves swirling about. The piece was called "Le Onde". Absolutely beautiful, worth checking out anyway!
