NEW Lloyds TSB advert music
Hi. New here.
I'm looking for the name of the music to the new Lloyds TSB advert. It's a piano piece but it seems slightly synthesised in the background. I know it's not Michael Nyman's Piano or the heart asks for pleasure first because that was a previous Lloyds TSB advert. This is the new one.
Kinda desperate so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hmmm, do you mean this ad?

It sounds a lot like composer Michael Andrews - he composed the soundtrack of Donnie Darko. I am not certain if it is from that film but it sounds very similar.

Yep. That's the one.
I was also thinking Michael Andrews as well but I think Donnie Darko is the only thing he has done which Lloyds TSB could work from because I don't think they'd pay him to do something original. This does give me some scope to work from though. I could try the website of the ad agency and send them a mail.

Discovered the artist
It appears the piece was a commissioned track from a London Sound Company who specialise in this area:
It was composed by a guy called Ross Gregory at Aardvark Sound Company (7292 9969).
There you go. Nice piece as well but unavailable, I think.

Lloyds TSB ad
Just read this forum, very flattered by the interest in the piece.
Unfortunately its only 30seconds long but if anybody would like a
copy of the music without voice over you can send a request to
enquiries@aardvarksound.co.uk
Thanks

Hi, I have had a lot of requests for the piece on air at the moment. I'm afraid that I did not write the current music for the Lloyds TSB advert called "The Journey", (I did the previous two commercials). If you would like to get hold of this new one I believe it is a published piece of music owned by Boosey & Hawkes the piece is called 'Eliza's aria' and was written by Elena Kats-Chernin. I hope this helps.
