Sky Sports - ATP Masters Tennis Series Advert

Hi All
I have been trying to find out the music for an Akai advert back in the '80's for the past two decades and I have just heard it being used to advertise Sky's coverage of the tennis ATP Masters series that is due to start next saturday on Sky Sports.
If anyone knows the details of the song and artist used in the promo this will be GREATLY appreciated.

Best bet so far is Haruomi Hosono and the album "coincidental music" released in 1985 and made up of japanese tv ad music.

Thanks for the info...will have to try and track it down...at least it is a possibility..have been trying to find the song for so long that even the hope of it being the answer is something

Have downloaded samples of all the tracks of Vangelis-china and hear no similarity! Have not found anywhere for samples of coinsidental (sic) music.

Having no luck with the coincidental music either...but can now confirm it isn't from the album China by Vangelis.

Not getting very far on this. Research led me to E-mail a certain James Motley at bskyb and also info at tovs.co.uk, the latter being an Ad agency that seemed to be claiming responsibility for this trailer. Neither have blessed me with a reply.

With possible apologies to "just sumbody", songofthesalesman.co.uk lists Vangelis-china-chung kuo for this trailer, still can`t hear any similarity from the short sample ( wmp format available at amazon.com) I`ve heard. Charscot says "can confirm not from Vangelis china" can he or anybody else elaborate on this?

I, like you lot have been searching for many years for this track, i even contacted sky sports, the wanted exact time, date, inside leg measurement that the advert was played, i can confirm after a lot of searching it is China By Vangelis

Its a forum of loads and loads of the music used on various sky sports programmes. I know there are 29 pages to search through but you never know.
