I think the Thomas Newman version is called 'Any Other Name', it has the distinctive piano line in it. It can be found on the album 'Cafe Del Mar Volume 8'.
However on doing some research a while back on the American Dream soundtrack I thought the song was called 'Dead Already', but that may have been the title for the soundtrack.
